Gaven turns 4

My sweet little Gaven turned 4 years old on January 30, 2011. I can't believe how big he is! This past year has been a great one for him. He got to go to preschool and has loved every minute of it! He recently had the "show and tell" bag and he brought his flag that all the monster jam truck drivers signed and wore his awesome Grave Digger shirt! He is so smart and can do everything by himself. He still loves to cuddle with his mommy and I am so glad that he does. I always feel especially lucky on his birthday that he is still here with us and that he was able to overcome those first few months of his life!

This year, Gaven wanted a Thomas the Train themed birthday party. He got to invite 6 of his friends to come over and celebrate with him. It was really fun.

He was so excited for his cake! I made it a surprise and he didn't get to see it until right before this picture was taken. His eyes got so big and he told me he couldn't believe it! The little girl sitting next to him in this picture is his good friend Ady. She goes to preschool with him and is in his Sunbeam class in primary. When they are in the same place they are rarely apart from each other.


They are all being very patient and waiting for the cake to be cut so they could finally eat thier own piece!

He got some really fun presents. A lot of books were given to him and he was so excited. He is learning how to read with Gage and he is doing a wonderful job! He gets really mad if you don't let him read some of the story.

It was a great weekend of birthday celebration! He was lucky enough to celebrate for 3 days in a row. I am so lucky and prould to be his mommy!
