This year we decided to try going to the zoo earlier in the year in hopes that the animals would be more active! They were and it was so fun to watch them. The boys actually got to see all of the animals instead of just trying to look for them.
First we stopped to see the baby elephant. Her name is Zuri and she was born last September. Gage loved watching her and I was amazed that she was so small. She like to roll around a lot and acted a lot like a toddler does!
Next we went to see the tigers because they are usually really hard to see, they are usually sleeping under some rock when we go. This time they were all out walking around. This is one of the triplets that were born last spring! It was really hard to tell which ones were the babies and which were the parents.
And of course you can't go to the zoo without seeing how big you are compared to a gorilla. They repainted them so you could see the different stages and see where you would fit in!
It was such a fun day. They love the zoo and really want to go again soon!
